Vervet Direct Volunteering

With no government funding, the sanctuary depends on international volunteers to help care for the primates.
Volunteers are involved in day-to-day hands-on activities of providing care for monkeys at the rehabilitation sanctuary , along with building and maintenance of the 23-hectare facility.

Become involved, volunteer to work with wildlife in South Africa. Training will be provided in monitoring monkeys in enclosures, preparing food and feeding including bottle-feeding baby monkeys, and in general primate husbandry. Volunteers make a financial contribution for their stay to cover food, accommodation, and ongoing operational costs of the sanctuary.
